Begin your Journey with the Goddess

“Take one step towards Devi and She will take ten steps towards you”
— Guruji Sri Amritananda

Sacred Practices

The Goddess and the Guru

“Devi means my life, your life, every being’s life.”

Sri Vidya translates as the most beautiful and auspicious knowledge. It is an ancient path that holds both worlds with equal reverence—material fulfillment and spiritual attainment—without rejecting either.

Here, the Goddess is not distant or abstract. She is life itself, present in every form, every breath, every being.

 About the Guru

Guruji was both a scientist and a modern sage. He did not build merely a temple—he created a home, a sacred space where all are welcomed beyond background, gender, or belief.

Standing within an unbroken Guru Parampara that traces back to Adi Shankaracharya, he carried the living stream of Sri Vidya forward for our times.

At Devipuram, we are met exactly as we are and gently offered the practices of Sri Vidya, through which devotion becomes a path of self-knowing rather than dogma.

He revealed the Sri Yantra as a living map of the body and the cosmos, and taught with quiet certainty that the truest worship is not bound to rites or form. It is found in the tenderness with which we meet one another.

When the Self is glimpsed in the face before us, division dissolves—and love alone remains.
