Sri Kamakhya Devi, the Mother Goddess in the form of the Yoni similar to that of the Kamakhya Peetham in Assam, self-manifested herself here in Devipuram.

Just as Guruji taught us and as per his wishes, Kalavahana empowerment rituals are performed here for both couples and individuals alike. The Kalavahana ritual activates the chakras in the body and the receiver has the unique experience of being worshipped as Goddess herself.

Significance

It is here at the Kamakhya Peetham that She gave Darshan to Guruji in 1983 and initiated him into many ancient rituals.

During one session soon after his powerful initial vision, Kamakhya Devi told Guruji,

“I am the blissful state of Goddess Bhairavi, residing here in the form of Kamakhya. Lord Shiva dwells in this place too, as its guardian. His natural presence here is special and auspicious. You will build a temple to him atop this very hill!”

Then speaking of the yoni formation itself she said, “This crevice, shaped like the triangle within the Muladhara Chakra, evokes the Universal Womb. Its waters have alchemical powers and you will find me here blessing all with success, and bestowing love upon everyone. Together with Lord Shiva, I create and sustain life.”
