Homam
Homam, also known as homa, havan, yajna, or yagya, is a fire ritual performed to invoke the divine presence using specific procedures and mantras. In Devipuram, the Homams performed belong to the Sri Vidya tradition.
The fire acts as a medium for communication with the Gods, allowing them to receive offerings, prayers, and mantras. Agni [Fire] is also known as ‘Pavaka’ in sanskrit meaning ‘Pure’. Fire is a pure element that cannot be polluted, making it conducive to receiving the full presence of the deity. By meditating on a deity through an external fire, one can enhance their internal fire and purify themselves from impurities, karma, and blockages in the energy channels.
Schedule : Daily
