Auspicious Dasara Brahmostavam celebrations at Devipuram commences on 3rd October, 2024.
Dasara Brahmotsavam at Devipuram is celebrated from Ashwiyuja Padyami through Pournami, culminating in Sri Pournami. Sri Sri Sri Sahasrakshi Raja Rajeswari has manifested here as Samishti Swaroopa of Iccha, Jnana and Kriya Shakti.
Guruji Sri Amritananda had proclaimed that She is the real Guru and instructed that every year Ashwiyuja Pournami (Sri Pournami) be celebrated as Guru Pournami!
These fifteen days are dedicated to the worship of the Primordial Mother Goddess – Shakti, in Her Manifestations as Sri Maha Kali, Sri Maha Lakshmi and Sri Maha Saraswathi.

Contents
Rituals of Homam, Kshirabhisekham with Kumkumarchanas and Kalavahanas
are performed daily along with Parayanas (chanting).
Sevas of Alankara and Annadana offered daily
Special events like Devi Kalyanotsava, Pallaki Seva, Rathotsava and Jalaharati are on special days.
Young and adolescent girls, women and couples will be revered as the Divine Mother through Bala, Kumari, Suvasini & Dampati Puja.

Programs
Navaratris are periods of deep Sadhana, times when one should wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to the worship of the Divine Mother. Whether a novice or a long-time practitioner, individuals can attain Her grace through practices such as Japa, Parayana, Puja, and Homa.
Alankara Seva, Kala Seva and Annadana Seva are also offered as acts of devotion to please Her. Devi Kalyanotsavam, Pallaki Seva, Rathotsavam, & Jala Harati are additional ways of bringing people together in Bhakti.

The Utsava Murti of Sri Sri Sri Sahasrakshi Raja Rajeswari Devi will be adorned (Alankara) in different manifestations as per table below.
Pujas
Samuhika Kshirabhishekam
Samuhika Kshirabhishekam is being organized for the devotees who may propitiate the Goddess (Utsava Murthi) with milk to the powerful chants of mantras.
Kumkumarchana
Sri Chakra Kumkumarchana will be done to the chants of Sri Suktam, Durga Suktam, Lalita Sahasranamam, and Trishati.
Homam
Homams will be performed daily and aligned with the Alankaram of the Pradhana Devata (Sahasrakshi Devi). Devotees may participate in this ritual and offer the oblations to the various Goddesses. Vagdevi Homam will be performed on 10th Oct (Free for Children).

Durga Saptashati, the 700 verses from the Markandeya Purana- As per the Markandeya Purana, it is extremely beneficial to chant the Chandi Saptashati during this auspicious period.

Reciting the 1000 names of Sri Lalitha Parameswari
Khadgādī Pañcādaśa Mālā
15 different variations of the Khadgamala Namavali, a different variation will be read each day.

Also known as Devi Atharva Seersham, this is a powerful hymn to please the Goddess.

In keeping with our tradition of worshipping women as Devi, we will be performing Kalavahana on all days at the Kamakhya Peetham.

In addition, we are blessed to revere young girls (Bala) on 9th Oct, Older girls (Kumari) on 10th Oct, Married women (Suvasini) on 11th Oct and couples (Dampati) on 12th Oct, as Divine Mother.
Kala Seva
Devi is fond of the 64 Kalas which include music, dance, poetry and storytelling. We are pleased to welcome artists from different locations to come and offer their Kala as Seva to Devi.
