Auspicious Dasara Brahmostavam celebrations at Devipuram commences on 15th October, 2023.

The annual Dasara Brahmotsavam at Devipuram unfolds its divine festivities from Ashwiyuja Padyami ultimately reaching its pinnacle on Sri Pournami. Sri Sri Sri Sahasrakshi Raja Rajeswari has manifested here as Samishti Swaroopa or collective form of Iccha, Jnana and Kriya Shakti.

Guruji Sri Amritananda had proclaimed that She, the Supreme Goddess, is the real Guru and instructed that every year Ashwiyuja Pournami, also known as Sri Pournami, be celebrated as Guru Pournami!

These fifteen days are dedicated to the worship of the Primordial Mother Goddess – Shakti, in Her Manifestations as Sri Maha Kali, Sri Maha Lakshmi and Sri Maha Saraswathi.

Daily, a series of sacred rituals including Homam, Kshirabhisekham, Kumkumarchanas, and Kalavahanas take place, accompanied by devout Parayanas (chanting).
The offerings of Sevas, such as Alankara, and Annadana, are presented on a daily basis to express devotion.
On noteworthy occasions, the festivities escalate with special events like the Devi Kalyanotsava, Pallaki Seva, Rathotsava, and Jalaharati, each marking its significance. 
Girls, women, and couples, will be venerated as manifestations of the Divine Mother through Bala, Kumari, Suvasini, and Dampati Puja.

Programs

Navaratris are periods of deep Sadhana, times when one should wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to the worship of the Divine Mother. Whether a novice or a long-time practitioner, individuals can attain Her grace through practices such as Japa, Parayana, Puja, and Homa.

Alankara Seva, Kala Seva and Annadana Seva are also offered as acts of devotion to please Her.  Devi Kalyanotsavam, Pallaki Seva, Rathotsavam, & Jala Harati are additional ways of bringing people together in Bhakti.

Sri Sri Sri Sahasrakshi Raja Rajeswari Devi will be adorned (Alankara) in different manifestations.

Pujas

Samuhika Kshirabhishekam

Devotees perform Kshirabhishekam with milk to the Goddess in the form of her Utsava Murthi accompanied by chants of powerful mantras.

Kumkumarchana

Sri Chakra Kumkumarchana will be done to the chants of Sri Suktam, Durga Suktam, Lalita Sahasranamam, and Trishati.

Homam

Daily Homams will be conducted in alignment with the Alankaram of the Pradhana Devata, Sahasrakshi Devi, allowing devotees to offer oblations to the various Goddesses. Vagdevi Homam will be performed on 21st Oct (Free for Children)

In addition, young girls (Bala) on 21st Oct, Older girls (Kumari) on 22nd Oct, Married women (Suvasini) on 23rd Oct and couples (Dampati) on 24th Oct, will be venerated as Divine Mother.

Kala Seva

Music and dance, among the 64 Kalas, are integral components of Her worship, and we welcome artists to offer their artistic talents as Seva to Devi.
