Sri Raja Shyamala Devi is the deity who presides over all fine arts – music, dance and all the 64 kalas. She is known variously as Matangi, Shyama and is the Mantrini Shakti of Sri Lalitambika.

Abhishekam & Archana

Go Mata Puja & Kalasha Sthapana

30th Jan 2025, 8:00 am

The Navaratri festivities will commence with the traditional puja to Go Mata. This will be followed by the Kalasha Sthapana wherein Kalashas for Rajashyamala Devi along with Her Anga Upanga and Pratyanga Devatas; and also Sri Maha Ganapati will be installed.

Kshirabhishekam, Kumkumarchana & Shodashopchara Puja

Daily, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

The Utsava Murthi of Sri Rajashyamala Devi is offered Shodasa Upachara Puja with Kshirabhishekam (milk), followed by Alankara and Kumkumarchana with Ashtottara Shata Namavali.

  • Kumkuma and Copper Sri Chakra pendant, Raksha thread will be sent as Prasadam by courier.

Shyama Yantra Puja

Daily, 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm

The Yantra Puja of Sri Rajashyamala Devi will be done on a daily basis everyday.

Mantra Japam

Daily, 9:00 am to 10:00 am

Mantra Japa of the Rajashyamala Moola Mantra and the Anga, Upanga & Pratyanga Devatas will be done every day.

Homam

Raja Shyamala Homam

  • Raja Shyamala Homam will be performed daily in the afternoon with special Ahutis while chanting the moola mantra of Raja Shyamala and Her Anga Upanga and Pratyanga Devatas.
  • Devotees can offer the special Ahutis with their own hands.
  • Sacred Vibhuti of the Homa, Raksha thread, Kumkuma, Photo of Raja Shyamala Devi will be sent as Prasadam by courier.

Alankara Seva

Contribute to Alankara by offering vibrant, fragrant flowers and garlands for the deities.

Annadana Seva

Feeding a sumptuous Anna Prasadam to the multitude of devotees during Shyama Navaratri.

Visesha (Special) Puja

Daily, 04:00 pm

Everyday special Puja will be offered to different forms of Raja Syamala Devi along with the mantras. This will be followed by Arati and also special Arati at Moola Viraat Sri Sahasrakshi Raja Rajeswari Devi.

Samoohika Shyama Sahasranamavali Archana

06th Feb, 2025: 4:00 pm Onwards

On the last day of the Navaratri, there will be a Samoohika (community chant) of the Sri Rajashyamala Sahasranamavali. All devotees can particpipate and receive Kumkuma prasadam.

Sandhya Harati & Kala Seva

Sandhya Harati will be offered to Devi every evening wherein devotees are encouraged to come and offer their songs, dance or any art form to Her as Seva.

Music and dance, among the 64 Kalas, are integral components of worship, and we welcome artists & bhajan groups to offer their artistic talents, kirtanas as Seva to Parameswara & Parameswari.
